Is-sinjal għal FESTIVAL TAL-KANT għandu żewġ partijiet. Fl-ewwel parti jsir is-sinjal għal FESTA, jiġifieri, l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 mgħawweġ laxk u jagħmlu moviment ta’ ċapcipa imma bl-idejn jaħbtu ma’ xulxin mill-polz. Id waħda titla’ u oħra tinżel biex il-linja tal-moviment taċ-ċapċipa tkun djagonali.
Fit-tieni parti jsir is-sinjal għal KANT. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ ponn u ddur quddiem il-ħalq bħallikieku qed iżżomm mikrofonu.
The sign for SONG FESTIVAL consists of two parts. The first part is the sign for FESTA, that is, the hands form a loosely clawed 5 shape. They make a clapping movement but with the hands hitting each other at the wrist. One hand moves up and the other moves down so that the line of movement forming the clap is a diagonal one.
The second part is the sign for SINGING. The hand forms a fist shape and rotates near the mouth, as if holding a microphone.
